Set Free // Look Book

In order to fundraise for our youth summer Belize missions trip, our missions team decided to design and sell t-shirts. As a result, Rebekah and I collaborated and designed this year's t-shirt "Set Free."

The idea of the design was inspired from John 8:36 - "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." We believe that Jesus can and will set many people free from their bondage of sin. Jesus already defeated Satan on the cross. And as Jesus' disciples, we are fulfilling the Great Commission - to go out and make disciples of all nations.

The look book below was styled by Rebekah and this is her vision carried out. We really hope you enjoy the photos!

Hirshhorn Museum

On Saturday the youth group media team took a field trip to the Hirshhorn Museum in DC! I didn't realize how close the Hirshhorn and Air & Space Museums were to L'enfant Plaza. Usually we get off at Smithsonian and walk across the National Mall, but it's a much closer walk from L'enfant Plaza! Sadly the lights exhibition was taken down and they are now setting up an animation exhibit. From the art museums I have gone to so far, the National Portrait Gallery/American Art Museum is my favorite in DC.

I wanted to share some of the exhibits that we saw! The first half are the ones taken with my camera and the latter pictures are the ones taken with my cell phone (edited on vscocam).

Renwick Gallery

I really wanted to go to the Renwick Gallery in DC after seeing cool instagram posts of my friends going there (and I love art museums!) When we were arrived, we were really surprised by the super long line to enter the museum (I suppose, we did go on a Saturday. I also thought there would be more exhibits, but I'm glad I went!) While I was taking and editing pictures, I realized it has been a while since I've taken pictures just for fun. I hope to take and edit more creative pictures this year by experimenting with new types of photography, techniques, and editing styles!
It was right across from the White House!
